Specializing in Juvenile Justice Mental Health, Dr. Jin is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, Adolescent Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. He is licenced in New York, Michigan and the Province of Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Jin currently holds academic appointments as Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry Department of Psychiatry, Montefiore Medical Centre, Department of Psychiatry, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, Department of Psychiatry, North Shore University Hospital, New York University, School of Medicine.
As founder and CEO of Hope Care Medical Counseling Services P.C. and CJMS Psychiatry Services, he currently provides psychiatry and all mental health services for the NYC Dept. of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) 3 detention facilities and to non-secure community residences. He is also Attending Physician, Department of Psychiatry, the Montefiore Medical Centre, Attending Physician, Paediatric Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Service, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, North Shore University Hospital and Medical Director (Academic), Division of Addiction Psychiatry, the Department of Psychiatry, North Shore University Hospital. He is the recipient of many awards and honours for his research and academic achievements and has authored numerous scientific papers and publications.
